Tejasvi Surya's Lok Sabha speech on Banking Regulation Amendment Bill 2020

Bengaluru South Member of Parliament Shri Tejasvi Surya explains how the banking reforms in the cooperative banking sector is expected to protect over 20 crore middle-class depositors in India from the Sri Guru Raghavendra Cooperative Bank, PMC Bank and other such cooperative banks.

The PM Shri Narendra Modi government passed the Banking Regulation Amendment Bill 2020 in Lok Sabha on 16.09.2020. The Bill provides for the banking business of cooperative banks fall under Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) regulations.
